Inside: The perfect candy corn jello shot for fall.
Nothing says Halloween time like candy corn and booze, at least for us adults! These candy corn jello shots are the perfect boozy drink to get your monster bash poppin’.
I love entertaining friends during the holidays, but Halloween is extra fun to throw a party. I mean think about it, costumes, candy, and don’t even get me started on all the decoration possibilities.
The Perfect Candy Corn Jello Shot
There are a few things that make the perfect candy corn jello shot.
Tequila: Duh, get yourself some GOOD tequila! Make these babies taste as good as they look. I used Jose Cuervo Blue Agave, personally I think they taste the best with the orange and the lemon jello flavors.
Perfect Layers: To get those crisp clean layers all you need is some patience. So make sure to allow plenty of time for you candy corn jello shot to set before serving. A little trick I like to do is freeze your shot classes before adding your first jello layer. Spoon in each layer to make sure they are even and you don’t have a lot of excess liquid dripping down the sides!
Perfect Temp: Before your guests arrive set at your perfect jello shots about an hour ahead of time. This gives them time to loosen up from the sides. No one wants to have to fish out their shot stuck to the side of the glass.
Whip Cream: Don’t add your whip cream too early, just right before your guests come knocking at your door.
