For an easy and pretty holiday centerpiece you only need to grab a pack of taper candles, a couple jars of acrylic paint and some rubbing alcohol. I shared this quick tutorial last week on Project Wedding to make your own painted and glittered candles. The tapers would fit in perfectly at any celebration table this month. Something about candle light makes every dinner feel more cozy, don’t you think?
Happy November…
PS. A few other recent wedding projects hot cocoa favors, a heart embroidered runner and cute confetti hearts.
blessings.
Having grown up with candles on our Christmas tree, I love candles around the holidays. I am always having trouble finding the exact colors, though, that match my design. I think your project idea might fix that this year. Thanks for the tips.
Lovely! Love the polka dot ones…is there an issue with the flames getting to the paint?
Please bring for thanksgiving

Very clever, I never would have thought to pant candles! Excited to try this though, we just inherited some pretty awesome Norwegian candle sticks from my husbands grandparents!
Oooh, I love glitter but the hubs LOATHES it. He has pretty much forbade me to use it. Ever.
:( But I guess it could be worse!
I never would have thought to paint candles or douse them in glitter. Great inspiration. Love this idea!
